Jimmy Peterson (Jughead) and Casey Gooby are certainly no strangers to the game. It’s one they’ve been playing their entire lives. These days you can find them plying their craft on midwestern backroads with an esoteric mix of rootsy foot-stomping guitar tunes. The duo has been together for the last number of years, fueled by an enthusiasm for old guitars, gas station coffee, and all things adventurous..

The shows typically feature a lively cacophony of guitar interplay and self-styled vocals. While Peterson’s original songs draw on some unusual influences such as Chris Whitley and Ry Cooder, the set also contains a variety of classic cover material from a pantheon of American music that runs the gamut including Dylan, John Prine and Jerry Garcia.
