Born along the banks of the mighty Mississippi River, High & Rising brings a fresh, groove-forward sound to the Bluegrass, Folk, and Americana scene. Describing their style as “Groovy Grass,” the band blends thoughtful songwriting, strong musicianship, and an easygoing energy that feels both rootsy and original.
Most often performing as a quartet, High & Rising features Laura Farley on upright bass and vocals, Jym Farley on acoustic guitar, Ben Rohde on percussion, and Harrison Olk on banjo. Together, they create a unique sound that stretches beyond traditional bluegrass while staying grounded in the warmth, storytelling, and spirit of acoustic music.

Opening the night is Beat Bath.
Ben Rohde brings his lifelong passion for rhythm and music to the world of sound and energy healing, specializing in the profound vibrations of gongs. As an experienced percussionist and drummer, he intuitively guides others toward deep relaxation and stress relief through immersive sound experiences.
Ben plays two gongs, Tibetan singing bowls, flute and chimes. It’s a full-on sound bath setup. Laura Farley plays crystal singing bowls. It will set a real chill and calming pre-show vibe.
