Hans has a loyal audience of listeners who have formed deep
attachments to Hans’ original songs of love, loss friendship and the
circle of life, while his innate humor entertains and delights. Hans also
covers songs from all styles and periods of music from rock, folk,
western and blues. His listeners are often a dancing crowd that loves
to have a good time and will come back again and again to hear his
music.
As a bass, mandolin, Native American flute player and vocalist Hans
has toured, written and recorded with the Grammy winning artist Bill
Miller. His work with Miller included performances on Austin City Limits,
the Today Show and live shows at the Nashville Ryman Theatre (the
former Grand Old Opera). Hans has played his original tunes and
covers with many popular area Midwest bands and musicians including
the Mayer Brothers Band, Johnsmith, String Ties, Dan Sebranek, and
Hot Sauce (with Larry Dalton and Wayne Beezley).
